Yaesu FT-2000 Settings

These are the key menu settings for RX and TX Audio that I used to use on the Yaesu FT-2000, which was my previous rig. I have published them here for the benefit of other licensed amateurs who may be looking for a starting point. The microphones used were the Yaesu MD-100 Dynamic Microphone (High Emphasis 'On' and Low Cut set to '2') or the Heil Pro Set Plus headset and I use no outboard EQ or other filtering.

Any menu numbers not mentioned here are assumed to be set to the factory default settings, so this list is by no means exhaustive. If you find these settings useful, please do sign my guestbook to let me know and to share experiences.
