Site last updated on 1st June 2009

Welcome to the website for my Amateur Radio Station, operated from Edinburgh, Scotland, under the callsign MM0XDG.

A professional musician and school teacher by trade, I was first licenced for Amateur Radio in January 2007 at Foundation level as MM3RVG. Under the auspices of the Cockenzie and Port Seton Amateur Radio Club, I took the three UK Amateur Radio Exams between January and May 2007, when I became MM0XDG. I run a Yaesu FT-2000 with an MD-200 mic and the Yaesu Data Management Unit. I installed a G3TPW CobWebb antenna on the roof about 70 feet above the ground in October 2007. I now also have a Double-Size G5RV (204' top) installed, suspended in free space, at 65 feet from the ground. I use this for operation on 160m, 80m & 40m. My primary interest is in chasing DX and you can see the countries that I have worked elsewhere on this site. I hope that you will enjoy visiting my website. Thank you for looking and I hope one day to work you on the bands.

June 2009 update - I am currently QRT whilst I move house. I hope to be operational again in August 2009. Thank you for visitng my site.
